Hunter Eisenhower on the Force System, Superpowers and Kryptonite in Basketball Players

Hunter Eisenhower on the Force System, Superpowers and Kryptonite in Basketball Players

Author: Mike Robertson June 21, 2024 Duration: 1:11:51

Hopefully we’ve all learned this by now, but you simply CANNOT train basketball players like powerlifters, or even football players.

With the unique demands of the game, all the stopping, starting, and change of direction, the need to move horizontally AND vertically, you need a broad mix of physical qualities if you want to build a powerful, explosive and resilient hooper.

And that’s why I’m so excited to have Hunter Eisenhower on the podcast today!

Hunter is the Associate Head Coach for Sports Performance at Arizona State University where he works with Men’s Basketball and Triathlon. He previously worked for the Sacramento Kings as an Assistant Performance Coach & Sport Scientist, as well as at UC Davis, Southeastern Louisiana & Minnesota State Mankato.

And today’s show is all about helping YOU build the best possible basketball player!

If the most jacked guys are the best basketball players, then we wouldn’t see the population we do in the NBA.

– Hunter Eisenhower
