This week's episode includes a chat with previous guest Lizzie Carr MBE and covers her initiative 'Race for Rivers' which is a collaboration to measure and improve water quality across England

England's waterways are under severe threat from unseen pollution, and in recent years the solution to the problem from those who are responsible for safeguarding it, is to simply to monitor the water less.

This episode incorporates an interview with Lizzie and recordings from the riverbank ; as we paddled down the River Wey on the first two days of this 32 day relay, running up to the Lake District in the north of England taking measurements along the way.
