On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Buffalo Bills beat reporter and podcast cohost Ryan Talbot to discuss a few Buffalo Bills related topics, including taking a look at five positive summer developments for the Bills that could bode well going into the regular season, and a look at how some Bills rank in terms of fantasy value.
Ryan covers the Bills for Syracuse Dot Com and is also cohost of the popular SHOUT! Buffalo football podcast alongside Matt Parrino. The guys discuss some things that have went well for the Bills between training camp and the preseason and how it could bleed into the regular season. Among those discussed is James Cook signing a new deal to close the door or any potential distractions, Keon Coleman seemingly taking a giant step in his second NFL training camp, Matt Milano looking very much like he did back in 2022, Joey Bosa having a productive and more importantly, healthy training camp and Jordan Hancock having the vibes of a really good future safety.
They also run through where several Bills players are ranked in terms of fantasy football and Ryan has some thoughts on if he feels they're ranked too high, too low or just right. Josh Allen is ranked first among all quarterbacks, but both James Cook and Dalton Kincaid are outside the top dozen in their respective positions. Also, no receiver is ranked higher than 45th going into the season. What do they agree and disagree with most?
