Down in Southeast, a completely different story unfolds. Snow is falling hard. Juneau and the northern panhandle could see 3 to 7 inches through the day. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon. Travel will be difficult this morning. But tonight, that snow transitions to a rain-snow mix as temperatures climb into the mid-30s. Southcentral sees some sun today with a high near 11 degrees. But around 7 A.M., wind chills dip to minus 25. The afternoon brings relief as temperatures climb.
