Ep 47: Marketing to help make the world a better place, with Tristram Carfrae, Arup

Author: Ayo Abbas, Marketing Consultant March 31, 2023 Duration: 30:56

Today’s interview is a special one.  It’s with Tristram Carfrae who is a Deputy Co-Chair of Arup. Arup is a global sustainable development consultancy, delivering work focused on producing safe, inclusive and resilient communities, infrastructure and cities.

Arup is a firm I know well as I have had two stints working there one when I was full-time there from 2006 – 2009 and another more recently as a consultant with their Arup University marketing team.

In this episode we cover:

  • why Arup invests in marketing
  • why Arup is looking to broaden the marketing conversations they have from traditional audiences
  • the impact of digital and Covid on how they go to market
  • why and how Tristram approaches LinkedIn.

The Built Environment Marketing Show is a bi-weekly podcast hosted by marketing consultant Ayo Abbas.
