Tune in from Beautiful Downtown Merrifield, right in the shadow of the Mosaic District, for The Reddy Kilowatt Hour. This isn't your average music program; it's hosted by a peculiar entity known as Reddy J Kilowatt, your rock and roll servant, who claims to be a washed-up college DJ now demonically possessed by the spirit of a discredited cartoon spokesman for the electric industry. That unique perspective fuels a weekly journey through sound, broadcast Thursdays at 9 pm ET on Radio Fairfax out of Fairfax, Virginia. Each episode of this podcast is a curated surge of energy, weaving together alt-rock, progressive rock, soul, and occasional punk rock. You'll hear deep tracks and forgotten classics that deserve a fresh listen, all presented with a chaotic, passionate spirit that only a possessed mascot could muster. The result is a consistently unpredictable and deeply personal music show that feels like a late-night transmission from a very specific, wonderfully weird corner of the world. This podcast connects with those who believe music discovery should be an adventure, powered by a strange and singular voice.
