She had her arm tore to shreds while working at the GW Zoo and decided to forgo the two years of reconstructive surgery to have her arm amputated to beat the media and keep the wellbeing of the cats. In this episode we learn more about the followings of the big cat owners. Doc Antle, a doctor for mystic sciences, has three wives and pays his staff $100 per week. Joe Exotic on the other hand, allows people who have no place to go a chance to work with his animals for $350 a week, he followed in Doc's footsteps and has two husbands, John Finlay and Travis Maldonado. Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue has what seems to be hundreds of volunteer workers who must take classes and put in hours to work their way up the chain.
