Hello, everyone! My name is Olga and here is the fourth edition of the project.

My project is for those who want to learn modern Russia and the Russian language better.

Я как обычно подготовила вам несколько интересных рассказов, которые прочитаю на русском и английских языках.

As usual, I prepared for you some interesting stories that I would read in Russian and in English.

В прошлых подкастах мы уже говорили о новейшем космодроме «Восточный»; познакомились с волком по прозвищу Забивака; выяснили кто такие «вежливые люди» и узнали ещё много интересного.

In previous podcasts, we have already talked about the newest Vostochny Cosmodrome; we have met the wolf, nicknamed Zabivaka, and found out who these “polite people” are, and learned a lot more interesting.

Я расскажу о культовом фильме «Брат», отличного режиссера Балабанова. В нем снялся замечательный актер Бодров.

I will talk about the cult film “Brother” of an excellent director Balabanov. It starred a wonderful actor Bodrov. 

Мы переместимся в одну из Бухт Крыма и посмотрим на город Балаклаву.

We will move to the one of the Crimea Bays and look at the city of Balaklava.

А в начале речь пойдет о молодой, но уже самой любимой традиции жителей нашей страны. Это ежегодное всероссийское шествие Бессмертный полк.

But in the beginning we will talk about the young, but already the most beloved tradition of our country inhabitants. The annual All-Russian procession of the Immortal regiment.
