6NME - Noongar Radio 100.9 fm

Noongar Radio 100.9 FM, callsign 6NME, is Perth only First Nations community radio station, broadcasting across Whadjuk Boodja from its Beaufort Street studios. Its roots go back to an Indigenous segment on 6NR in 1979, and after relaunching on 100.9 FM in 2008 it opened with a live NAIDOC broadcast that began a long tradition.

Weekdays flow from The Breakfast Show through National Talk Black and Moorditj Mag to Our Voices, while Solid Sounds champions new and emerging First Nations music. The Drive with Jeff Michael takes listeners home, and on Friday nights Hustle and Grind turns the station over to hip hop and rap with Zero and Big Rak.

Between the shows, Noongar Radio shares language, culture, community notices and the stories of Boorloo mob, living up to its catchcry: Stay Deadly. Listen live online or on 100.9 FM across Perth.
