smoothfm 91.5 Melbourne

smoothfm 91.5 is Melbourne relaxing music station, part of the Nova Entertainment family and on air since 2012. The brand arrived in May 2012 and quickly found an audience tired of shouty breakfast radio. It was built on a simple idea: a calmer kind of radio for the working day, without the noise and hype of the rest of the FM dial.

The playlist blends easy listening favourites and soft soul with the smoothest pop of the last four decades - Adele, Michael Buble, Norah Jones, Sade and plenty of Motown moments in between. Every hour is designed to take the edge off the day.

Breakfast and drive keep Melbourne moving with news, traffic and weather, delivered in the same unhurried tone. It has become the default soundtrack of offices and shops across the city. Sister station smoothfm 95.3 does the same job for Sydney. Listen online and let Melbourne relax.
