Plenty Valley 88.6 FM

Plenty Valley FM 88.6 has been part of Melbourne's community radio fabric since 1987, transmitting from Yarrambat to the city's north and east. Studios sit in Mill Park, and the licence area spans the cities of Banyule, Manningham and Whittlesea together with the Shire of Nillumbik.

As a community broadcaster operating under CBAA guidelines, the station blends music and local programming with an unusually strong sporting tradition: every Saturday through the winter season it carries the Northern Football Netball League Match of the Day - an hour-by-hour preview of the fixtures followed by a full live call of the feature match, with scores rolling in from every other game.

English-language, volunteer-based and firmly local, the station streams free online - Melbourne's north-east community radio to listen online, for locals and winter football fans anywhere.
