About Flash Back Favourites
Flash Back Favourites is a Sydney web station with a deliberately unusual pairing: the nostalgia bin and the Arabic songbook sharing one playlist. Classic hits from the 70s sit beside Arabic music - international legends on one track, Arabic stars on the next - a mix built for households where both traditions play, and for anyone whose musical memory holds two worlds at once.
The station streams non-stop rather than programming a rigid schedule, letting the two repertoires flow into each other hour after hour. For listeners of Arabic heritage raised on western oldies - or the reverse - the format needs no explanation; it is simply the soundtrack of a diaspora kitchen, wedding playlist and long drive in one.
Free to stream around the clock through radio apps and web players, it makes an easy nostalgia web radio listen online - from Sydney's west to anywhere in the world, at any hour of the day or night.
