2WKT - Highland 107.1 FM

Highland FM, call sign 2WKT, broadcasts on 107.1 FM to the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, the green hill country around Bowral, famous for its tulip festival and cool-climate gardens, an hour and a half from Sydney. It is an all-volunteer community station, non-commercial and proud of it, with an eclectic mix of music, culture, education and local information, all produced locally.

The station invests in its own scene: the 100% Home-Grown concert series puts local musicians on stage at venues like the Bowral Bowling Club, and the Ian Holland breakfast show keeps the region informed each weekday morning. Community notices matter here - the station even carries wildlife rescue messages for the wombats of Bundanoon. Highland FM streams live online, so the Highlands can be heard from anywhere, from Sydney to overseas.
