ABC Jazz

ABC Jazz is the national jazz channel of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, dedicated entirely to the genre. The schedule moves through the whole world of jazz - classic recordings and new releases, Australian players alongside the international masters - presented by hosts who know the music and its history. The channel grows out of a long jazz tradition at the ABC, where the music has had a home on the airwaves for decades.

Australia has a strong jazz scene of its own, and the channel treats it seriously: local recordings, festival sessions and interviews share the air with the great albums. ABC Jazz broadcasts on DAB+ digital radio and streams online around the clock, seven days a week, which has made it the reference point for jazz listening not only in Australia but for jazz fans anywhere looking for a knowledgeable, ad-free stream.
