radio.sydney

radio.sydney wears its identity in its address: an online station from Sydney that calls itself Australia online radio station. The offer is free music streaming with local Sydney stories between the tracks - and a technical point of pride: the stream and the station app run at 320 kbps, with curated album artwork and correct song data, details that most web radio never bothers with. The station has kept its own app on the App Store for years, updated with each new version of iOS.

There is no FM frequency and no nostalgia for one - the station is built for the app and the browser. For listeners in Sydney it is a local companion; for everyone else, it is a way to hear what the city plays, streamed live online to anywhere in the world, around the clock, from the harbor city to wherever its listeners land.
