ABC Coffs Coast

ABC Coffs Coast is the ABC Local Radio station for Coffs Harbour and the surrounding coast of northern New South Wales, broadcasting on 92.3 FM. It began as a small bureau at 24 Gordon Street in 1994, grew into a full studio, and split from ABC Mid North Coast to become its own station in 2008.

Floods have marked its story: the Gordon Street studio was rebuilt twice after inundations in November 1996 and April 2009, and the station's local news and emergency coverage has mattered just as much to listeners in Coffs Coast storms since.

The talk-led day carries local breakfast and mornings programming plus ABC network shows, serving a region of banana plantations, fishing fleets and the Big Banana on the highway.
