4YOU Rockhampton 98.5 FM

4YOU Rockhampton 98.5 is the Capricorn region's community radio station, broadcasting from Rockhampton across Central Queensland's beef-capital heartland. Donations, memberships and sponsorships keep it on air rather than advertising muscle - the classic community funding triangle, staffed by local volunteers.

The schedule combines locally produced programs with a community events diary and business directory that make the station part of the region's civic infrastructure, plus National Radio News bulletins keeping listeners informed between the music. New presenters are actively recruited from the community the station serves - one of the quiet services community radio performs best.

English-language, free to stream online and acknowledging the traditional owners of the country it broadcasts from, 4YOU keeps Central Queensland community radio within reach - from the Fitzroy River to anywhere in the world.
