3BO FM

3BO FM is Bendigo's senior commercial licence: founded by AWA on 4 June 1931, the station spent six decades on AM before switching to the FM band on 5 April 1993 under the 3BO FM name. Since December 2016 it has carried the Triple M rock brand, transmitting as 3BBO on 93.5 MHz across Central Victoria.

Studios in Golden Square produce the local hours - breakfast with Cogho & Jules leading the morning - while network programming fills the day from Albury, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney. Sister station Hit91.9 shares the site, and the licence's ownership trail runs from AWA through Wesgo and DMG to today's Southern Cross Austereo.

English-language and streaming free online, the station keeps Bendigo's rock radio a click away - a 1931 licence still playing loud, from the goldfields city and the old Mount Alexander transmitter site to anywhere in the world, for workdays, weekends and footy seasons alike.
