Tank FM

Tank FM is Kempsey's only local radio station, broadcasting on 103.1 FM to the Macleay Valley on the New South Wales mid-north coast. Run by the volunteer-based Macleay Valley Community FM Radio association from studios in West Kempsey, it delivers what regional commercial networks never quite manage: information with a local postcode attached.

The programming is proudly eclectic - easy listening, country, classic hits, kids radio, gospel and old-time rock & roll alongside the latest tracks, plus shows sourced from the Community Radio Network. A genuinely modern touch is Tank FM Rewind, an on-demand service that lets listeners replay local programs for up to a month after they air - a facility most city stations still don't offer.

Acknowledging Dunghutti country and streaming free online, the station keeps the valley within earshot of itself - an easy NSW community web radio listen online, from the Macleay River to anywhere in the world.
