CAAMA Radio 2 is the companion stream to CAAMA Radio, the Alice Springs service born from 8KIN-FM, Australia's first Aboriginal radio station, launched in 1980 by Freda Glynn, Phillip Batty and John Macumba. Same newsroom, same community - a second window on the music.

Expect the Central Australian signature: Aboriginal rock beside country music, live recordings of desert bands and conversation in several languages alongside English, the way 8KIN-FM has always done it - broadcast for around fifteen hours a day in its history, now around the clock online.
