Hawkesbury Radio

Hawkesbury Radio - Hawkesbury Radio Online today - bills itself as the home of real local voices, serving the river and farmland district west of Sydney around Windsor and Richmond. Its website rounds up local news in partnership with the Hawkesbury Gazette, so floods, shows and council matters stay on air.

It is a station that leaves the studio too: outside broadcasts have taken it to the Hawkesbury Show, airshows and mountain bike races, night broadcasts included, while the programme guide and a now-playing list keep the music side visible online.

Podcasts such as Leon On The Radio let listeners catch up on the conversation, and volunteer presenters carry the community-radio tradition into the digital era. English-language and free to stream online, it makes an easy community web radio listen - the genuine voice of the Hawkesbury, for locals and for the wider world.
