KOOL FM

KOOL FM is the Top 40 hit station of Innisfail, the sugar and banana town on North Queensland's wet tropical coast between Cairns and Townsville, operated as part of the NQ Radio family of stations that keeps local voices on air across the region.

The format is Top 40 and charts - the current hits that travel well in cane-train country - presented with the local weather, community notices and cyclone-season updates that a wet-tropics town genuinely relies on through the summer months.

As a regional operator rather than a metro network, NQ Radio keeps its stations close to their towns, and KOOL FM does that for the Cassowary Coast - Innisfail, the surrounding farming districts and the Bruce Highway traffic between the big cities north and south. Free to stream online, it makes an easy hits web radio listen - North Queensland's chart music, from the wet tropics to anywhere in the world.
