About Top Albania Radio
Top Albania Radio has been on air since 14 February 1998 - it was the first media outlet founded by Dritan Hoxha and the seed from which the whole Top Media Group grew, later joined by Top Channel television and the DigitAlb platform. More than two decades on, it is widely regarded as the most listened-to radio in the country, and in 2023 it marked 25 years of broadcasting.
The playlist is built around pop and hit music: current international chart tracks mixed with the biggest Albanian songs and proven favourites from earlier years. The station also produces its own year-end charts, like the Top 100 Songs of the Year, and a line-up of daily shows that have become fixtures of Albanian radio.
Broadcasting from Tirana, it reaches listeners across Albania on FM and the rest of the world online - the live stream runs on topalbaniaradio.com, and the station stays active on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
