ABC Alice Springs

ABC Alice Springs is the local station of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for Central Australia, heard on 783 AM in the town that sits almost exactly in the middle of the continent. Alice Springs is the only sizeable settlement for hundreds of kilometres in any direction, and the station serves an enormous outback territory - cattle stations, Aboriginal communities and travellers on the long desert roads.
