88.9 Mixx FM

88.9 Mixx FM, call sign 3HFM, broadcasts from Hamilton to the farming country of Western Victoria. Part of Ace Radio, one of the last family-owned radio groups in Australia, it plays the songs its audience loves - familiar pop and rock favorites mixed with current hits - wrapped in genuinely local content: news, weather and the sport that matters in the district.

Hamilton calls itself the wool capital of the world, and Mixx FM serves exactly that kind of community: farmers on the road between properties, the shops of the town center, the local football and netball clubs on Saturdays. The 88.9 signal covers the region, and the live online stream carries the station to former locals and listeners anywhere in Australia. The network shares some programming across its stations, but the local newsroom keeps the Hamilton stories first.
