SBS Arabic24

SBS Arabic24 is the Arabic-language radio service of SBS, the Special Broadcasting Service, the Australian public broadcaster built to serve the multicultural nation. It broadcasts twenty-four hours a day in Arabic: Australian and world news, talk, and community programming for one of the largest migrant communities of the country.

SBS has broadcast in community languages since the 1970s - the radio arm today speaks dozens of them, and the Arabic service is among its biggest - and Arabic24 is the modern form of that mission - a dedicated channel for the Arabic-speaking audience of Australia, from the established families of Sydney and Melbourne to the newest arrivals. The service is available on digital radio in the capitals and as a live online stream, which makes it equally useful to the Arabic-speaking diaspora listening from anywhere in the world.
