hit Mackay 100.3 FM 4MKY

hit Mackay 100.3, call sign 4MKY, is the hit music station of Mackay and the Whitsunday region of Queensland. Part of the Hit Network, it plays the hit songs of the day - pop and chart tracks - with a local breakfast show, news and the competitions that keep a regional station close to its audience.

Mackay sits between the cane fields and the Great Barrier Reef, the sugar capital with the mines of the Bowen Basin at its back, and the station serves that whole mix: city families, cane farmers and the mine workers passing through. The 100.3 signal covers the region from Proserpine to Sarina, and the live online stream carries the Mackay sound to listeners anywhere - the Whitsundays holidaymakers and the fly-in fly-out crowd included. The station shares the Mackay market with its rock sister, Triple M 98.7 - between them they cover most of the local dial.
