In this episode of the Smarter Not Harder Podcast, our guest Dr. Mark Gordon joins our host Dr. Scott Sherr to give one-cent solutions to life's $64,000 questions that include:

  • How can stress and cortisol levels lead to inflammation and brain injury?

  • Why is vitamin D crucial for the immune system and testosterone production?

Dr. Mark Gordon is originally trained in family medicine, and continued his medical education in clinical orthopedics, cosmetic dermatology and sports medicine prior to culminating in interventional endocrinology in 1997. His first book, The Clinical Application of Interventional Endocrinology, is recognized by his peers as a dissertation on the standards of care and assessment for hormone replacement medicine. His academic standards and medical knowledge have been recognized by USC, where he holds a voluntary position as associate professor at the USC Keck School of Medicine.
