KMOJ's Community Viewpoint
During Mental Health Awareness Month, this episode opens up a necessary and powerful space centered on Black men and mental health. For too long, Black men have been expected to endure pressure, responsibility, trauma, and emotional weight in silence. This conversation works to break that cycle by bringing awareness, truth, and understanding to the forefront.
Through real dialogue, shared experiences, and community reflection, we highlight both the strength and humanity of Black men. We explore the importance of emotional wellness, vulnerability, and access to safe spaces where healing is not only accepted but encouraged.
This is more than just a discussion — it is an intentional moment to listen, uplift, and affirm Black men in their full identity. A space where they are seen, heard, valued, and supported without judgment.
Join us as we confront stigma, challenge silence, and celebrate the importance of mental health in Black men’s lives. This conversation is rooted in awareness, healing, community, and change for generations to come.
Because healing is strength, and being heard matters.
