10 Keys to Successful Basketball Strength & Conditioning

10 Keys to Successful Basketball Strength & Conditioning

Author: Mike Robertson May 17, 2024 Duration: 45:18

I’m going to start this one off with a bold statement:

I don’t love where the industry is at with regards to training basketball players.

Now before you get all pissed off and click away, hear me out.

These young men and women are playing more games than ever before.

Yes we’re getting them “in the gym” – but are we putting too much of an emphasis on pure “strength” development?

And last but not least, how can we evolve our own programs to best prepare them for the sport?

If your goal is to think differently and help your basketball players see more success in the months and years to come, this is the podcast for you.

Let’s do this!

As physical preparation coaches, there’s more to it than just getting strong – we have to teach them how to move. – MR
