Friday, Aug 28 - Weeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

The boys get into a debate about which states hate other states the most, and apparently state rivalries are alive and well. A new study claims Connecticut's biggest state beef is with New Jersey, while New Jersey has somehow decided that its own least favorite state is... New Jersey. It's hard to argue with that level of self-awareness. New Milford Mayor Pete Bass joins the guys in the studio for a visit, bringing some local politics and conversation into the mix. Meanwhile, Lou admits that he absolutely loves riding the swings at local carnivals, but there's one major problem: he doesn't completely trust the people responsible for maintaining the rides. Apparently, enjoying the sensation of being launched into the sky is much easier when you're not thinking about whether someone remembered to tighten every bolt. There was also a bizarre traffic situation in Southern California on Tuesday after pallets loaded with cheese balls somehow ended up scattered all over a freeway. The snack-related disaster caused traffic delays, but apparently some drivers saw the mess as an opportunity rather than an inconvenience. Several motorists actually stopped their vehicles to scoop up tubs of cheese balls that had managed to survive the crash without breaking open. Nothing says "road safety" quite like pulling over on a freeway to grab free snacks. And finally, we're getting into the never-ending debate over Panda Express and whether it should be considered authentic Chinese food. There are plenty of people who argue that the fast-food chain doesn't represent traditional Chinese cuisine, but apparently the company's CEO isn't losing any sleep over the criticism. He says he "takes no offense" to people making that argument. And honestly, that's probably the correct response when you're selling orange chicken by the bucket.
