997 Bridge FM Brisbane

99.7 Bridge FM has been proudly run entirely by volunteers since 1992, building one of the largest community radio footprints in Australia - from north of the Brisbane River out to Caboolture and beyond. Not-for-profit and fiercely local, it plays what it calls Great Rock Variety.

Rock is the heart of it. Oz Rock with Bernie O Bryan is a weekly celebration of Aussie rock - Skyhooks, John Farnham, AC/DC, The Angels, Silverchair and the rest - while A Breath of Fresh Air with Sandy Kay revisits the 60s, 70s and 80s with stories and interviews from the artists themselves.

The day opens with Less Talk More Music Brekky, Moreton Bay Today tackles local affairs with Travis Groves, and JyJy hosts The Drive Home with news, sport, weather and traffic every half hour. Bridge FM also trains aspiring broadcasters - more than a few have gone on to commercial radio careers. Tune in on 99.7 or listen live online.
