91.5 FM The Positive Alternative

91.5 FM The Positive Alternative serves Gympie and the surrounding Wide Bay region of Queensland with a clear mission: uplifting music and teaching. As the tagline suggests, the station positions itself as the positive alternative on the dial - Christian programming in place of the usual commercial mix.

The format is CCM, contemporary Christian music, flowing continuously with worship songs and pop-styled faith hits, punctuated by teaching segments. The stream itself carries the same identity in its metadata - uplifting music and teaching - and runs in English around the clock at no cost to listeners.

While the station keeps a modest web presence, its internet stream is active and reliable, and the self-declared aim of empowering music and a message of hope travels with it. Broadcasting from Parsons Road in Gympie, it makes an easy web radio listen online for locals, Wide Bay listeners and Christian music fans well beyond regional Queensland.
