5 PBA-FM 89.7 FM

5PBA-FM is a community radio station broadcasting on 89.7 MHz to the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. Run by the non-profit Para Broadcasters Association, it was established in 1978 and began full-time broadcasting in January 1983, which makes it one of the long-standing community radio voices of the Adelaide region. The studios are located on Wiltshire Street in Salisbury.

The schedule is built by local volunteers and counts more than sixty weekly programs: local news and talk, music across many styles, and a large block of multicultural shows in around sixteen languages for the diverse communities of the northern suburbs. The station also takes programs from the Community Radio Network, among them Aussie Music Weekly, which airs on Tuesday evenings. Beyond the FM signal, the broadcast is available as a live stream online for listeners anywhere in Australia.
