Triple J Hobart is the Apple Isle's outlet of triple j, the ABC's national youth and new-music network, heard in the Tasmanian capital on 92.9 FM and carried online through the network's regional streams. For Hobart's students, musicians and night-shift workers, it has long been the default setting for discovering what's next.

The programming is the national triple j mix: new Australian releases first, alternative and indie staples around them, current affairs through Hack, and the institution of the Hottest 100 each January.
