About Triple M Central Coast 107.7
Triple M Central Coast is the region's original radio voice: it began as 2GO on 19 November 1971, the first station on the Central Coast, before converting to FM 107.7 in 1992 and taking the Triple M name in November 2019. The callsign 2GGO still points at Gosford, its home base.
Now part of Southern Cross Austereo's rock network, the station plays a mainstream rock and adult contemporary format for a broadcast area running from southern Lake Macquarie down to the Hawkesbury River, spilling into Newcastle and Port Stephens. Its AM history survives in the record - 1310, 1323 and 801 kHz before the move to FM.
English-language and coast-focused, the station streams free online, keeping Central Coast rock radio a click away for locals, Sydney commuters and expats alike - an easy live web radio stream from Gosford, carrying half a century of the region's broadcasting history into present-day rock playlists.
