ABC Ballarat

ABC Ballarat, callsign 3CRR, is one of the ABC Local Radio network's newest stations - opened on 30 June 2003 - and has grown into the largest regional ABC operation in Victoria, with a team of broadcasters and journalists that started at nine staff and now numbers sixteen.

Broadcasting on 107.9 FM, it serves Ballarat, Ararat and Daylesford directly, with sister coverage reaching Hamilton, Port Fairy and Warrnambool. The local day runs from breakfast with Steve Martin through mornings with Gavin McGrath, and the studios also originate the regional Statewide Drive program with Prue Bentley - heard across Victoria, southern New South Wales and eastern South Australia.

English-language and free through the ABC listen app and live web stream, the station keeps the goldfields region connected - Ballarat news and talk radio to listen online, from Lake Wendouree to anywhere in the world.
