Double J is the ABC's digital station for the listeners triple j outgrew - the audience that still wants new music, minus the teenage chaos. Born as ABC Dig Music in November 2002, it was handed to the triple j staff in 2013 and relaunched on 30 April 2014 under a name honouring triple j's original 1975 callsign, 2JJ - Double Jay.
