Real Country

Real Country is an Australian online station dedicated to country music - the real thing, as the name insists: classic country and the new generation, from the bush ballad tradition to the modern stars, with plenty of Australian country artists in the mix. It comes from the same family as Real Classic Rock, the Brisbane-based stream run by the team behind the hosting company VentraIP, so the same rule applies: music first, streamed in high quality, around the clock.

Australia has one of the oldest country traditions outside the United States - Tamworth, the awards, the festival every January - and Real Country plays into all of it. There is no FM dial position; the station lives as a live online stream, free to country fans anywhere, from the outback to the honky-tonks of Nashville.
