Middle East Radio Melbourne 87.6 FM

Middle East Radio Melbourne 87.6 FM is a narrowcast community service on Melbourne's 87.6 band, made for the city's Middle Eastern communities. The format leans talk and news - keeping Arabic-speaking households across Melbourne connected to current affairs, from home and in Australia.

Programming reflects the breadth of the community it serves: news bulletins and discussion, cultural conversation and community notices, set beside Arabic music from the classic songbook to modern pop, so the sound of the station changes with the hour.

It streams online around the clock alongside the FM signal and posts live video sessions on social media, keeping the community connected wherever the diaspora lands - from the northern suburbs of Melbourne back to Beirut, Baghdad and beyond. Free to listen to anywhere, it makes an easy Arabic web radio listen - a Middle Eastern voice in Melbourne, for the community and the wider world.
