Prive Radio

Prive Radio - written Prive with an accent on its logo - is a Tirana-based online station that has made its name with dance music. Directories list it among the most popular dance radios in Albania, and its format runs through dance, pop and Top 40 around the clock.

The station keeps things simple: a continuous stream of club-flavoured hits and current chart tracks, without a heavy talk layer. There are no presenters to follow and no news bulletins to wait through - it is the kind of stream built for volume rather than attention, something to keep energy up in shops, bars and cars. A sister channel, Prive Lounge, covers the slower side of the same audience with relaxed, after-hours music.

The project's original website has gone quiet, but the radio itself lives on in the directories - listeners can find the stream through online radio guides and apps that carry Albanian stations, alongside the Lounge offshoot.
