RadioTrojet

RadioTrojet takes its name from a word every Albanian knows - trojet, the lands, as in trojet shqiptare, the Albanian-speaking lands of the Balkans. It is a small web radio with a single mission: keeping Albanian hip hop on the air.

Hip hop in Albanian has grown into one of the biggest sounds of the Balkans, and the station rides that wave - rap and urban tracks in Albanian, from established names to new voices. Albanian rap has produced artists with international reach, and the scene now releases enough music to fill a full-time station on its own. The trojet in the name works as a promise: music from all the Albanian lands, not just one country, gathered in a single stream.

RadioTrojet broadcasts online only. The stream is listed by Albanian radio directories and players, so it can be followed from anywhere - which is rather the point for a station named after a community scattered across several borders.
