radiovan

Radio Van broadcasts on 103.1 FM from Yerevan and calls itself the number one radio of Armenia - a claim backed by its Best Radio Station of the Year award at the Best Armenian Brand 2020 ceremony. On air since 1997, it is a primarily Russian-language station: pop and rock music sits next to analytical, cultural and entertainment programs, and a rapid news service called 200 Seconds keeps listeners updated through the day.

The station is directed by Shushanik Arevshatyan and works from studios on the seventh floor of a building on Khanjyan street, in the central Kentron district of Yerevan. It also keeps a soft spot for jazz, marking International Jazz Day with special shows since 2014. Beyond the FM frequency, Radio Van streams live online around the clock and through its mobile apps, reaching the Russian-speaking audience of Armenia and far beyond.
