Radio Azalia

Radio Azalia is an independent, non-partisan media platform from Armenia, run by the Independent Journalism Platform NGO. Its musical mission is singular and clear: Armenian folk music, traditional and in quality contemporary interpretations, streaming twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year.

The station exists outside the commercial system: it is supported directly by its listeners, who can donate to keep the channel alive. That independence shows in the programming - no advertising blocks, no playlist dictated by a label, just the sound of Armenian national music, from old folk songs to modern covers. The broadcast is online-only, available as a live stream to the Armenian diaspora - for the millions of Armenians living outside their homeland, a channel like this is a direct line to the sounds of home - and to anyone curious about the musical heritage of the country.
