Cooloola Christian Radio

Cooloola Christian Radio, known on air as Positive 91Five, broadcasts on 91.5 FM in Gympie, Queensland. The station began in 1995, started by members of a local church, and it has kept the same mission since: a mix of positive, feel-good and inspirational Christian music, with messages of hope around the clock, aimed at keeping the local community looking on the bright side of life.

Gympie is the center of the Cooloola region, a gold rush town turned farming community between the Sunshine Coast and the Fraser Coast, and the station is woven into local life - sponsorships, community events and the everyday notices of a small city. The studios sit on Parsons Road, and the volunteer team keeps the station on air with the help of local sponsors. Beyond 91.5 FM, Positive 91Five streams live online, so its positive outlook is available to listeners anywhere.
