4BNE Nova 106.9

Nova 106.9 is the Brisbane station of the Nova Entertainment network, the youngest voice on the FM dial of the city. The format is hit music radio with a grin: the biggest pop and chart songs, a breakfast show built on laughs, and the contests, cash giveaways and festival tie-ins that have made Nova famous across the country.

The station launched in 2005, four years after Nova first appeared in Sydney, and quickly shook up the Brisbane market, becoming the station of choice for younger listeners. Between the music, the shows keep a very local sense of humor, and the events and street presence make Nova visible around the city. The 106.9 signal covers Brisbane, and the live online stream carries the station to listeners anywhere in Australia and beyond, around the clock.
