Denmark FM

Denmark FM, broadcasting on 99.7 FM, is the first community radio station of Denmark, a town on the south coast of Western Australia. Launched in 2021 and run entirely by volunteers, it calls itself the sound of Denmark - local music, news, voices and stories.

Specialist music shows cover serious ground: Above the Grind unleashes heavy metal and rock from Black Sabbath to Slipknot, A Jazz Hour covers the smoother end, and The Folk Show celebrates Anglo-Celtic, Australian and contemporary folk. Film fans get Top Score, devoted to soundtracks and composers.

Local life fills the rest of the grid: Breakfast brings news, weather and surf conditions, Friday Drive with Matt wraps up the week, the Denmark Sports Report covers local clubs, and Schools on Air is made with local students. Great Southern Storytellers and Considering Earth add extra depth. Listen online and hear a small town with a big radio heart.
