89.7FM Perth (Twin Cities FM)

89.7 FM - Twin Cities FM, call sign 6TCR - is the community radio station of Joondalup and Wanneroo, the twin cities of the northern suburbs of Perth - Joondalup being one of the largest planned urban centers in Australia. Broadcasting from studios on the Edith Cowan University campus in Joondalup, it has served the area for twenty-five years under the slogan The People The Music.

The station is volunteer-run, and its schedule reflects the community that makes it: music across the decades, local news and talk, and specialist programs in niche genres that commercial radio ignores. The signal covers the northern corridor from Two Rocks down to Warwick, through some of the fastest-growing suburbs in the state. Beyond FM, the station streams live online, so the northern suburbs of Perth can be heard from anywhere in Australia or abroad.
