2ONE - The Edge 96.1 FM

The Edge 96.1 - today branded CADA - is the hip hop and R&B station of Western Sydney. Broadcasting from Katoomba on the edge of the Blue Mountains, its signal sweeps down into the Sydney basin, and the format has made it the home of urban music in the city: Australian hip hop next to the international tracks.

The station went on air as The Edge 96.One and was reborn as CADA in 2022, when owner ARN rebuilt it around the booming local hip hop scene - a scene that grew up in exactly the suburbs the station covers - the area that produced some of the biggest names in Australian hip hop. On air it mixes music with culture and street talk from the west - sneakers, street art and the local gig guide. The 96.1 frequency covers western Sydney, and the live online stream carries CADA to listeners anywhere.
