Author: 101.9 KISS FM (KWNW-FM) June 4, 2020 Duration: 18:23
Many leagues schedule their returns for later this month!!!

Brodee and Tim talk about which leagues are coming back.  They also have some details on when and how the respective seasons are expected to be structured.  Get ready for the return of the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, NWSL and MLS.  They join the full slate of Bundesliga action that's been underway for a couple of weeks.

The guys will have a quick bit of transfer news coming out of the red side of Manchester.

Finally, they discuss the state of sports and the world in general following the horrific killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week.

In the 2nd half...

Tim's Podcaster hat comes off.  In this episode, Co-host Brodee Scott asks all the questions to and about Broadcaster Tim Van Horn.

Tim grew up in Memphis, Tennessee.   Brodee quizzes Tim about the origins of his love for the game.  Van Horn attributes those roots to his family, namely his older brother.  While that love for the game has always been strong, he actually walked away from playing for nearly 20 years.  He talks about which sport actually helped helped pay for a good bit of his college.

Returning to soccer after suffering an injury in another sport, Tim discusses how he found new joy, friends, and even his wife on the pitch.

Following a 15 year career as a television meteorologist, Tim Van Horn finds himself in the broadcast booth again.  In his second year calling USL Championship action for Memphis 901 FC, Tim worked several games as the Color Analyst.  He talks about this unique experience, and scenario which sent him to the Play-By-Play side of things.  And yes, Tim says there is a distinct difference between the two jobs.  We get insight on the preparation and dynamics of presenting a typical match.  Thanks to our co-host and broadcaster Tim Van Horn for sharing his story.
